What's New This Month

Announcement: No More 25% Deposits!
I'm happy to announce that we will no more require a 25% up-front deposit for using our services.
We now have some experience with our clients and we are confident that our clients can be trusted. We can typically tell from how potential clients communicate with us whether they'll show up for an appointment or whether they're just wasting our time. And we realize that in this business, many people have reservations sending money to a business they have not dealt with before. We're listening!
So, How Are Things Going?
Girlfriend 4 A Week has now existed for 3 months, and I'd like to have a brief look at how things are going.

We have about 6,000 visitors to our website every month. Especially for December, this was remarkable, since I stopped advertizing on Craigslist. They are just too much hassle to deal with.

We now have more than 100 people registered at the website, many of them are paying members, our Newsletter goes to a distribution list of more than 130 people. I'm also happy to share with you that December was the month where we seriously gained traction. We've had a lot of customers, quite some customers are repeat customers. Sophia, Bebe, Sarah, Grace, Jacqueline and Scarlett all had their first clients.

The biggest surprise however are our clients themselves: This was one of my biggest concerns. How would they treat the ladies? Would they be dangerous or abusive? Having had quite some clients, I'm happy to say that our clients are just WONDERFUL with our ladies! They treat them like little princesses! This way we can continue to hire top-models for you, since our customers are our biggest advertisement for us! A big Thank You to all of you! You make Girlfriend 4 A Week work the way it does!

Girlfriend 4 A Week Wishes You a Happy New Year!

FireworksWelcome 2009, goodbye 2008! Wow, what a year 2008 was! 2008 was a remarkable year for many of us. We'll likely remember 2008 for the rest of our lives. 2008, the year of the credit crunch, the year of the bail-outs, a year of economic decline in general. However, in my opinion it's times like this where we become newly aware of our core strengths and fundamental values. 2009 will be an opportunity to start over again. The USA just elected a new president. This is probably the most prominent reminder to do things differently. I hope that you all had the chance to think through what lesson you learned from 2008 and how you'd like to contribute to the change 2009 will bring. Whatever your personal conclusions and resolutions are, Girlfriend 4 A Week wishes you all the best for 2009. Also remember that New Year resolutions have the shelf life of a banana: If you don't act quickly, they'll be forgotten soon! Let's have 2009 be a remarkable year in a more positive spirit than 2008!
Feature Article: Medellin and Colombia in the Press

One of the biggest challenges Colombia in general and Medellin in particular has, is overcoming it's nasty reputation. People typically associate Colombia with drugs, guerilla wars and kidnappings.

Only once travelers actually make it to Colombia they realize that this picture is way out of date and not at all in line with today's reality anymore.

Colombia is now doing its share to address this issue by launching a marketing campaign, which is called "The only risk is wanting to stay." Check out this campaign yourself here. The only thing I can add is: Right on, folks! Let's hope that this campeign will be as successful as Las Vegas' "What happens in Las Vegas stays in Las Vegas".

Tourism in ColombiaI find it personally encouraging that the world press has already started painting a more positive picture of Colombia and Medellin. The Sueddeutsche Zeitung in Germany for instance recently published a 3-pages article about Chrismas in Medellin (yes, the article is in German). Keep in mind that the Sueddeutsche Zeitung is like the Wallstreet Journal of Germany. Also, the Sunday Telegraph in Australia recently published a very positive article about tourism in Colombia titled "Bang, Colombia is transformed" here.
New Models: Welcome Cleo!

Cleo This month I'd like to introduce Cleo to you. Cleo is a good friend of Ornella (thanks, Ornella!). Cleo has her name from "Cleopatra", and what a classy lady she is! She just radiates class and raw sex appeal! At 23 years of age, he's quite a contrast to the "innocent teenager" we normally hire. Cleo You can take Cleo to the opera or to a dinner with your boss, if you like (leave the wife at home, though!). Cleo is a fantastic dancer, having attended a dance academy for quite a while, and just all around an incredible sensual young lady.

You can book appointments with Cleo effective immediately. She'll be posted at our website within the next 2 weeks, so again loyal readers of our Newsletter have the first crack at being with this fascinating young lady!

What's Upcoming in 2009 and Beyond

In this section, we normally look at what's planned for the next month at Girlfriend 4 A Week. Since we're launching into a new year, I'd like to use this opportunity to look ahead a little bit further and share some of our more distant plans with you. And plans we have a lot!

Early in 2009, we'll start concentrated marketing efforts in Europe. With Comet offering direct flights from Madrid/Spain to Medellin, our beautiful city will be a lot easier to reach from Europe.

We'll also start a Hotel marketing program, where we advertize in several luxury hotels in Medellin.

Coca Cola This year, we'd like to start our services in two additional cities beyond Medellin: In Bogota and in Cartagena. In the more distant future, we'd like to also be present in other countries in Latin America. We'd like to start our services in countries like Peru, Argentina, Chile, maybe Brazil. Ultimately, we'd like to establish "Girlfriend 4 A Week" as a worldwide brand, the "Coca Cola" of high-end escort services in Latin America. Stay tuned!
