URGENT Announcement: Direct Flights from Fort Lauderdale to Medellin available for $9 IF BOOKED TODAY (12/19/08)!
As I announced in my blogon 10/22/08Spirit is going to offer direct flights from Fort Launderdale in Florida to Medellin starting March'09. As a promotion, they are offering round trip tickets for as low as US $9, but only if you book your trip BEFORE MIDNIGHT TONIGHT (12/19)! This is NOT a typo: Not $900, not $90, but $9 for a round trip ticket from Fort Lauderdale to Medellin in Colombia. I used to be glad when I was able to pickup a round trip ticket for $600!
I could see the $9 prices when going to their website. You don't get the low price for all departure dates, but I could for instance see it when picking 3/10/09 and 3/11/09 as departure dates. Just play with the departure dates a little bit and you will see.

Even after the promotion which will expire tonight the regular rates are still great: I saw rates as low as US $133. Put your reservation in TONIGHT to get to Medelin virtually FREE and let us know when you're going to be in town.
