For the longest time, we've gotten all too acustomed to the Dollar hitting new lows against pretty much all major currencies. Well, I have good news for you: The Dollar is now approaching a 1-year high against the Colombian Peso. As of today, one Dollar is worth 2,188 Pesos (today's datapoint is not reflected in the chart below).

The Dollar had hit a scary low of ~1,650 Pesos just in July this year. From there, it staged a stunning come back, improving a whopping 33%, that's a value increase of 1/3!

 What does this mean to you? Your vacation in Colombia is now 1/3 cheaper than it used to be this summer! Your Dollars actually can be used to buy something again. Let's keep these candles lighted!
